Peppertree HOA 2012
Annual Meeting Minutes
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 on Thursday, October
25, 2012 at the Elks Lodge meeting hall with six people in attendance. (Note:
postcard notification of the meeting time and place earlier.) As this didn't
represent a quorum for any business that required a membership vote and there
was none, the meeting was conducted in an informal manner.
Roy Laudenslager did a presentation on the state of the
Peppertree homeowners association along with the cash flow for the prior year
and the proposed budget for 2013. The quote for the tree replacement of the
entry center island was agreed to while the upgrading to the signs was felt to
be lower priority and needed more research and a firm quote. An issue of a tree
from the berm was reported to have branches closely overhanging a dwelling roof
and should be pruned back. The arborist will be contacted to have the problem
corrected. There was discussion about some incidents of speeding on the back
street of the development. However because the Peppertree street is a dedicated
street, it's under the control of the city. Beyond individual complaints, there's
little that can be done by HOA.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30.
